Taking a restorative yoga class with Julie Waters is an experience that everyone deserves to enjoy and treat themselves to. Her calm voice and warm demeanor will make any person feel welcome and comfortable. I go to restorative yoga for the body and mind awareness. When Julie reminds me to “feel the space between the back of my head and jaw,” it relaxes me to the point of re-assigning stress levels. Deadlines feel manageable, not crippling, petty grudges seem just that, forgiveness (for myself and others) comes pouring out, and I begin to hear my thoughts rather than being their prisoner.

 Restorative yoga class with Julie soothes me, opens up more space inside me, reminds me that every person is large enough inside to contain an entire life’s worth of thoughts/memories/emotions and thus makes me feel more capable of being in control, just by lying down. Julie knows how to put your mind, body, and soul at ease. She goes out of her way during class to tend to each individual; whether it is by adjusting a position to best fit your body’s needs or using essential oils to better relax their mind.
